Repository Secrets

Some secrets are buried for a reason, and some will kill to keep them that way.

Mira Graves came to the Lutum Repository for a fresh start: cataloging alien artifacts in orbit around a dead world, far from the mistakes she left on Earth. The work is meticulous, the days are long, and the mysteries are supposed to stay safely locked behind glass. But Mira witnesses a murder through the window of a passing shuttle; an elderly archivist strangled by a rogue android. Now, everything’s changed.

The problem? No one believes her. No shuttle was scheduled. No body was found. And security insists she imagined the whole thing.

Until the victim turns up dead in the repository where she works.

Suddenly, Mira is a suspect in a murder she tried to report. Unmarked shuttles slip through the darkness. Security footage vanishes. And the deeper she digs into what really happened to the victim, the more she realizes someone is smuggling something off the planet’s surface—something worth killing for. With the help of a dead man’s widow and a cryptic coworker who warns her to stop asking questions, Mira must unravel a conspiracy that reaches from the ruins of an ancient alien civilization to the highest ranks of the Federation.

But the android that killed Foster saw her face. And now, it’s watching.

One witness. One murder. One chance to expose the truth before she becomes the next victim.

Perfect for fans of Martha Wells’ Murderbot Diaries and James S.A. Corey’s The Expanse, REPOSITORY SECRETS combines razor-sharp sci-fi mystery with pulse-pounding suspense.

Dive into a world where the past holds deadly secrets, and the future depends on one archivist brave enough to uncover them.

Hanna Westland is an older woman with gray hair and kind green eyes. She’s a biologist, renowned on the station for creating and maintaining its lush parks and gardens.

Winnie Foster is a tall, thin, and spirited woman with a familial warmth who struggles with immense grief after her husband Allen’s mysterious death. A close friend of Hanna and Mira, Winnie remains caring and forthright, balancing her heartbreak with a desire for answers.

Zack Dolby is an astute and connected resident of the space station, known for his resourcefulness and involvement in an informal intelligence network. Often described as a bit of a “snoop,” Zack leverages his mastery of surveillance and technical countermeasures to protect those he cares about, particularly Mira and Hanna.

Brock Robinson is a mid-thirties archivist with a warm, teasing demeanor and a history of athleticism. He has played a pivotal role in training Mira and infuses the workplace with a sense of humor, though his lightheartedness can occasionally irritate others.

Ethan Pullman is a platinum-blond, light-eyed team member at the repository, regarded for his diligence and straightforward manner. He is reliable and collaborative with colleagues like Inara and Mira.

Inara Barton is a pragmatic and hardworking repository staffer with short black hair and hazel eyes. She spends her shifts managing new artifacts and supporting teammates like Ethan and Mira as they adjust to ongoing disruptions.

Cade Tomberlin is the repository’s exacting and critical supervisor, notorious for his relentless pursuit of excellence and near-constant scrutiny of his team’s work. Though his standards create tension with his staff, he is positioned at the intersection of company and Federation interests.

Lydia Atkins is a skilled programmer and archivist whose confident exterior masks something deeper. Intelligent, attractive, and socially adept, Lydia often uses her personal relationships—most notably with Brock—to network.
